Life can be a rollercoaster ride and there are times when we experience tough times or frustration. Managing those situations and emotions can be challenging. In life we are taught how to do many tasks and skills but when was the last time someone taught you how to deal with your emotions? My goal is to help you learn how to identify those emotions, learn how to cope and work through your problems to build your emotional toolbox. Sometimes we just need someone to talk to who will truly listen without judgment and offer support. That is where I can assist. I can provide either faith-based or secular counseling. I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. Evernorth Behavioral Care Group is a behavioral health provider group in-network with Cigna Healthcare and Evernorth. For my availability, please reach out to Octave’s team by emailing or calling.

If you are tired of feeling unheard or supported you've come to the right place. Everyone deserves a great listener and someone who cares about you. Whether you're facing new challenges or have been struggling for years, I'm here to support you with personalized, evidence-based care in a safe and welcoming environment. Healing starts with one step. I help children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and perinatal individuals go from feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck to feeling more balanced, confident, and in control of their mental health without relying on one size fits all treatment or struggling alone. Using a personalized, evidence based approach that combines medication management, supportive therapy, and holistic care, I help clients build practical coping skills and move toward a renewed state of mind.

I'm a therapist with Octave and Evernorth Behavioral Care Group. Octave is a mental health practice providing high-quality care covered by multiple insurances. It cannot be overstated what a big deal it is that you have begun to explore finding support for yourself. This first step is one of the hardest. I’d be honored to be a resource for you during this time, and accompany you as you grow and change. The majority of my clients are high achievers of all stripes, from Ivy League students to folks attending competitive conservatories and art schools. I was a performing artist (actor, singer, musician) for 12 years in New York City before changing careers, and I specialize in working with folks who have creative identities. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent, and most also find themselves in overfunctioning/underfunctioning dynamics in their relationships. My main therapy modality is Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as somatic mindfulness-based therapy (Hakomi), and experiential therapy (gestalt). Basically this means that, in therapy, I will support you in getting more familiar with your internal system by helping you track what’s happening in your mind, your body, and between you and I (the therapist and the client). I’ll also guide you towards deepening your relationship with the different “parts” of your system, learning their agendas and desires, which sometimes produce inner conflicts and create stuckness. It’s well-known that being mindful of your body and breath is a great way to reduce stress, and using this practice as real situations arise in therapy will give you a practical way to use it in your day-to-day. As you get to know your system better, you will build greater trust within yourself, allowing for stuck parts to shift and for real lasting change to occur. If you’ve been in therapy before and it just felt like venting, IFS will be different. Pro tip: the research suggests that the therapy modality you use is less important than a trusting relationship with your therapist as far as positive therapy outcomes (though I will happily talk IFS theory for days). Do your best to go with your gut feeling about who intuitively feels right when choosing a therapist, even if right now might be the hardest time to do so. If something about my practice resonates, please reach out and schedule a consultation! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Eudaimonia Psychiatric Mental Health Clinic
While working in healthcare for the past 25 years, I have experienced the value of human connection between caregiver and patient in various roles and settings. Every individual I have provided care for has their own story, a unique set of experiences that has shaped them. Understanding these individual differences helps establish individual plans of care. Upon establishing a therapeutic relationship with my clients, I strive to learn their stories and help them overcome their struggles. I aim to help clients find meaning and purpose, improve their quality of life, and achieve contentment. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I can prescribe medications and provide talk therapy to help treat psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, and psychotic disorders. I have named my clinic after “eudaimonia,” which means ‘good spirit’ and is translated from Greek simply as ‘happiness.’ Eudaimonia is described as the condition of human flourishing, and this philosophy of finding meaning and purpose guides the care provided at Eudaimonia Psychiatric Mental Health Clinic.

ONLINE ONLY! In my view, psychotherapy serves different purposes at different stages of one's life. For young adults, one of the key tasks at hand is to discover their potential, talents, weaknesses, fears, wants and needs, and to manage relationships at various levels of emotional intimacy. In this process, many of us need to clarify past issues and unresolved conflicts to move forward more freely. My practice is informal, relaxed and friendly, and most of my clients come from multicultural and multiracial backgrounds, and I treasure diversity. I am comfortable working in English, Portuguese and Spanish languages.

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas with over seven years of clinical experience. I've worked with children, adolescents, adults, veterans, older adults, college students, couples, and parents. I entered psychology due to a passion for seeing people gain a deeper understanding of and empathy for themselves and those they love. I’d love the chance to partner with you in moving your relationships towards flourishing. Whether it’s your relationship with yourself or a significant other, friend, child, or parent, I’m here to help. I believe that all individuals exist within the context of their most important relationships. So no matter what concern might bring people to therapy, exploring one’s thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences in relationships will be critical to growth and thriving. I use evidence-based therapies to help you take a breath, learn to listen (to yourself and others), identify what you most value and why, and take steps to align your life and behavior with those values. While therapy can be intimidating, uncomfortable, and uncertain at times, I look forward to accompanying you in the process. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible. To learn more about my availability, please reach out to our Client Experience team by emailing or calling.
