C&C Betterworks, P.A.
You deserve an authentic therapist that doesn’t rely on gimmicks and mind tricks. We believe in high-quality services (just like you would expect when paying for childcare, dental work, car maintenance, or pizza). We help you through your mental health journey in the way that works for you— because that’s the respect you deserve. Our online counselors in North Carolina are authentic people and know what it’s like to sit in the client’s seat. Using that experience and our knowledge, we provide you with what clients have proclaimed “the best counseling” they have received. Here’s the truth about therapy: you’re what really matters. And that’s exactly why we at C&C Betterworks have decided to put the focus back on you. You often feel like the odd one out. You don’t want to feel that way in therapy, too! With us you do not have to hide anything. With our online counseling in North Carolina, we encourage you to be authentic in therapy, no matter what that looks like. Let’s keep it real. You bring your whole, true self. And we’ll bring our whole, true selves to every session The only thing that matters is that you’re being the real you. No psychology jargon or “how does that make you feel?” here. We speak human, not bullshit. Masking is exhausting. Therapy is the last place that you want to hold it in. Your sessions are a mask-free zone. Autonomy + Accountability = Results Your autonomy is respected- meaning you choose the direction your mental health treatment takes. All people have the ability; sometimes you just need a nudge to get going. We get shit done. Healing takes work, and sometimes it’s tough. That’s why we’re on this journey with you. #cantstopwontstop #sorrynotsorry Book a free 20 minute consultation today: https://cc-betterworks.com

My work as a clinician centers around the belief that therapy begins when you meet individuals where they are. I strive to empower clients to identify and utilize their strengths as well as work toward their goals. I am licensed through the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate. I received my Master’s Degree from Winthrop University with a focus on empowerment practice. As everyone has walked different journeys in life, their process in therapy should be just as unique. I work with people who are dealing with stress, anxiety, pain, grief/loss, illness, self-esteem concerns, and self-criticism. I teach mindfulness skills to help you reduce stress, anxiety and pain, and cope more effectively with grief, loss, and illness. I'll teach you how to feel better, feel better about yourself, and treat yourself with greater kindness and compassion. We have more control over our lives than it sometimes seems that we do. I teach people how to manage your thoughts and feelings so that you feel a greater sense of calm, happiness, and well-being. I'll teach you how to get unstuck, set clear intentions for your life, and take action to achieve your intentions and goals. **All sessions are telehealth.**

NextGen Behavioral Therapy
Working with me means gaining practical coping skills and tools you can start using right away. I rely on my background in psychology to implement cognitive and behavioral changes. I use scientifically supported methods like CBT, DBT, exposure, and mindfulness skills to create real, lasting changes. Our sessions will go beyond exploration and reflection — therapy with me is not 'just talking.' It feels great to vent, but it feels even better to have a path forward. I will gently confront and challenge you when I notice you might be holding yourself back. We all have a tendency to lean into old patterns and unproductive coping skills, especially when it’s all you know. I’m here to hold you accountable and help you grow in a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental way.

Whether you're running on empty, navigating identity and belonging, or simply ready to stop circling the same patterns, you are welcome here. I work with adults ready for authentic connection and meaningful change: LGBTQ+ people, people of color, women, and all intersections of these identities. I love working with folks exploring spirituality and spiritual practice, especially those who don't connect with or have been harmed by faith institutions. Presence, liberation, and deep connection are at the heart of my approach. This includes how we relate to ourselves, our identities, and the world around us. I pay deep attention to your story, and that story lives within a dynamic context. I move at your pace, and I'm here to help you see what's in the way, and what's already fabulous about you. If something here resonates, reach out. You don't need to have it figured out! Curiosity is enough. So is exhaustion. We can chat and explore whether working together is a next right move for you. Taking that first step is its own act of courage, and I don't take it lightly. I offer telehealth throughout North Carolina and look forward to connecting.

If you’re struggling emotionally as a young adult, you’re not alone. Transitioning into adulthood has always been tough, but Generation Z is facing a fresh set of challenges. My approach is based in cognitive behavioral therapy, but my methodology is specifically adapted for young adults. I work with individuals aged 17–24, offering compassionate, pragmatic support. My advice will be tailored around your unique needs and goals. You will receive honest feedback, gentle pushes, and proven tools for building a better life. Together, we can find the solutions that work for you. Best of all, because I offer virtual appointments, you can get the help you need right from the comfort of your own home (or dorm room).
