Rachel Kelly
Hi, my name is Rachel Kelly and I am a licensed professional counselor accepting new clients at Chrysalis Counseling. Has the state of the world left you freaking exhausted? Do you drag yourself through your days at work or school with a fake smile on your face? Do you spend more of your free time than you'd like either stuck in a blanket burrito listening to Bo Burnham's "Inside" on repeat and drinking too much or catering to everyone's needs but your own? I get it. It's hard to balance taking care of yourself and supporting the people you care about while facing a constant onslaught of global stress. That's why I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help people make peace with things they can't control and follow through on taking their power back to make meaningful changes where they can. I know that you've been doing the best you can and it's getting too hard to keep doing it on your own. You don't have to anymore. Send me an e-mail today to make an appointment or set up a phone consultation to decide if I'm the right person to help you get out of your head and into your life. *I am licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina and can provide telehealth sessions to individuals anywhere in either state. I can accept BCBS and private pay. I can provide superbills for possible reimbursement with any insurance company.

Stephanie McGee, LCMHC
Stephanie McGee is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate. She has always had a passion for working with youth and families who have experienced various hardships in their lives. This passion has stemmed from her own personal experiences and the experiences of those around her. In providing counseling services, she not only takes into consideration the individual but also those closest to them. She focusses on how their experiences have shaped their behaviors and interactions with others. She has found that when providing counseling services, it is not only important for the individual to learn new tools and techniques but that it is also important that those around them are accepting of the changes that they wish to make in their lives. Having a supportive environment is crucial to making change and without this, change is that much more difficult to make. When individuals enter counseling those closest to them may find that they too must shift and change with the individual, and this is not always an easy feat.
Carla J. Carballo Counseling Services
Bienvenidos. Welcome. College is a massive chapter of growth, but it often brings a unique, unspoken weight when you come from a Latino family. It is the complex dance of loving your culture and honoring your family’s sacrifices, while also trying to figure out who you are outside of their expectations. It means navigating the pressure to succeed, the guilt of setting boundaries, and the loneliness of living between two different worlds. I see you, and I get how heavy that walk can be. This practice is a warm, authentic space created just for you to take off that armor. Whether you want to express yourself in English, Spanish, or a mix of both, you can show up exactly as you are. You do not have to explain your culture here, because it is already understood. Together, we will honor your roots. This is your safe harbor to exhale, untangle the pressure, and finally feel seen.
Half Moon Mental Health & Wellness
Serving predominately the LGBTQIA+ community, Half Moon clinicians take a radically authentic approach to treatment. We have a great group of highly skilled relational therapists on staff who can support you though a wide range of life’s challenges, including difficult family dynamics, anxiety and perfectionism, depression and low motivation, loneliness, grief, and more. I have always had a calling for helping others, and I am so grateful to have found the career path of clinical social work. I was inspired to become a therapist after I met with a therapist after my father passed away when I was a young girl. I know first-hand how scary it can be to share your story, but trust me having an un-biased, non-judgmental, listening ear can go a long way. I have gained valuable skills working in various settings, including non-profit work, public health, research, and inpatient hospitalization. My experiences have allowed me to work with people of all ages, across diverse backgrounds, and on the individual, family, and group level. I work with individuals aged 12 and up, couples, and families. Prior to joining Wake Counseling & Mediation, I worked with adults who have chronic health conditions using my training in Lifestyle Medicine, a holistic approach to preventing disease through nutrition, exercise, and self-care habits. I additionally have worked closely with the gender diverse population by addressing anxiety, depression, and gender dysphoria, creating a support group, and engaging in research to better gender affirming care. I also have clinical experience in counseling pregnant & postpartum women, their children and families. Depending on your needs, I utilize a variety of modalities including Solutions-Focused, Psychodynamic, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Exposure Therapy. I prefer to use a multicultural, person-centered, and strengths-based lens in all situations. No matter the setting or population, I provide a passionate and caring approach for patients to work through all of life’s challenges, whether that be chronic illness, major life transitions, mental health concerns including anxiety, depression trauma, and sexual or gender identity journey. As a counselor, I am here to listen, partner with you, and offer support for you to overcome obstacles, meet your goals, and ultimately live your best life possible.

At times, life can feel like trying to steer a parked car - you’re hoping to move, but the wheels won’t turn. Therapy, for many, becomes a place to begin moving again. Starting on unmarked and unfamiliar terrain can be daunting. With this in mind, I am passionate about providing an open and secure environment that allows you to express yourself authentically and regain momentum. As you steer your car, I partner alongside you with creativity and compassion. At times, life can feel like trying to steer a parked car - you’re hoping to move, but the wheels won’t turn. Taylor's Touch Of Clarity Mental Health Counseling
At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.
